This policy describes how booking and attending a coaching session at Good Climbs works. It complements the Refund Policy and the Membership Refund Policy and is read alongside our Terms & Conditions.
Who can coach at Good Climbs
Only accredited coaches appear in the public coach picker on `/book`. Accreditation is granted and revoked by the gym; a coach's listing on the booking page means we currently endorse them to coach our members. Some coaches also display a level badge (for example "Level 1" or "Head Coach"); the badge is a description of experience, not a price tier — flat package pricing applies to every coach.
Booking a session
- You book a session by selecting a coach, a published time slot, and a coaching package on `/book`. The slot is reserved the moment your payment (or credit redemption) succeeds.
- A coach's time slots only become visible on `/book` after the coach has explicitly confirmed them as published. A confirmed slot is a real commitment by the coach.
- Group sessions seat the booker plus additional attendees (members or named guests). The booker is responsible for the seats they add, unless split-pay is chosen.
Cancellation by the student
By default Good Climbs does not allow student-side cancellation of a coaching session. We will not refund a session you booked and didn't attend. We do this because your coach commits time and refuses other students for your slot.
The gym may relax this policy from time to time, in which case a cancellation window in hours will be set by the admin and the cancel button will appear in your booking detail page. When set, you may cancel up to that many hours before the session starts; outside the window the no-show model applies.

No-shows
- Student no-show. If you do not arrive, your session is marked no-show and you forfeit the payment / credit. No refund is issued.
- Coach no-show. If your coach does not arrive, the session is marked no-show on the coach's side and:
- We will refund what you paid for the session through the original payment method.
- We will issue you a complimentary day pass on your account so the session isn't a wasted trip.
- We log a debt from the coach to the gym, deducted from the coach's next payout.
Reschedules
Reschedules at the discretion of your coach are always free as long as they happen before the original slot starts. After the slot start, a missed session is a no-show.
Payment, credits, and gift links
- A coaching package may be paid online (Xendit) or settled at the desk.
- Members can buy or be gifted coaching credits which redeem for an equivalent solo session.
- The gym admin may also gift a pass directly to a member or share a single-use redemption link.
