# Resole Service Waiver & Claim Policy
By submitting shoes for resoling through Good Climbs, you agree to the following. Please read before sending your shoes.
The service
- A resole request is an assessment-based service. You send photos of
the damage along with the brand, model, and size; an independent resoler assesses the shoes and prepares a quote. You do not choose the price or package — the resoler determines the work and the charge based on the condition of the shoe.
- A quote is shared with you in the app. **Work begins only after you
approve the quote.** If you decline, your shoes are returned to you unworked at no charge.
- Resoling is handcraft on used equipment. Results depend on the condition
of the shoe. We and the resoler will use reasonable care, but cannot guarantee a shoe returns to "as-new" condition.
Drop-off and the deposit box
- After submitting, you drop your shoes in the deposit box at your chosen
branch. The box has a limited weekly capacity; if it is full, please try again the following week.
- We confirm in the app when your shoes are received at the branch, when
the resoler has collected them, and when they are delivered back.
Notification, claim deadline, and liability
- **We will notify you by SMS when your shoes are back at the branch and
ready to claim.** Other steps are visible in the app whenever you open it.
- You must claim your shoes before the claim-by date shown in the app.
Good Climbs is not responsible for, and assumes no liability for, shoes left unclaimed after the claim-by date, including loss, disposal, or storage. Unclaimed shoes may be disposed of after this date.
- You release Good Climbs and the resoler from liability for ordinary wear,
cosmetic variation, and outcomes inherent to resoling used footwear, except as required by Philippine law.
Payment
- Payment is collected at pickup. You will receive a receipt itemizing the
work performed.
By signing, you confirm you have read and agree to this waiver and claim policy for the shoes you are submitting.
